Within the framework of the Textiles & Clothing Business Labs (TCBL) project, MIRTEC (Materials Industrial Research & Technology Center) and HCIA (Hellenic Clothing Industry Association) organized a conference at Metropolitan Expo Center during the Athens Fashion Trade Show. The conference titled “Sustainability, Ethical Manufacturing & Sustainable Fashion”. About 70 people attended. The issues presented, included Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Fashion - the case of Soffa, presented by Ms. Christiana Vassiliadou and Sustainable Consumption: Communication for the Consumer presented by Ms. Alexandra Stamidi. Moreover, four presentations of specific business practices in Greece, were given. In particular, Ms. Emmanouela Kouroudi from Thrakika Ekkokistiria / cotton mills, Mr. Yannis Kolotouras from ZEUS+ΔΙΟΝΕ, Mr. Konstantinos Papazafiropoulos and Ms. Vassia Pikrou from Wildrobe and Mr. George Tsiakiris from Silk House.
