2023 - 2026 // VETRINE

This Erasmus + project seeks to diminish the environmental impact of apparel production through specifically developed vocational education and training modules. VETRINE provides awareness of the negative environmental footprint of the fashion industry alongside learning modules that will consider the entire production cycle including material choices, design and sewing, energy consumption, distribution and post-consumer habits such as repair and recycling. Students receive real-world experience through product development and the use of digital tools that increase transparency.
The three-year VETRINE project brings together HEIs, VET schools and labour markets organizations aiming to establish flow of information and cultivate the ground towards implementation of green practices into the apparel industry.
The primary outputs are:
- A study of labour market needs & VET education protocols (“The VETRINE Study”)
- An online Capacity Building Programme (“Green VETRINE”)
- A final phase that gives learners real-world experience through contact with labour-market actors
Cedecs-TCBL’s role in VETRINE is related to communication, dissemination and sustainability, supporting the core work packages by ensuring correct diffusion of project results and developing a post-project strategy that will keep the results and community created alive. The TCBL Association network can benefit from the results of this project, in particular from the Green VETRINE course.
