Green VETRINE course
The VETRINE project provides vocational training on sustainability and entrepreneurship for future fashion designers. A key part of this project, of which Cedecs-TCBL is a partner, is the creation of a capacity-building program for VET students and T&C workers in the sustainable T&C field. The course is designed not only for the traditional classroom but could be an integral part of staff training in some of the SMEs who make up an important group of TCBL members.
The free certificate course "Green Vetrine: an introduction to sustainable garment design and manufacturing" is now available online. It is composed of 5 chapters and 20 learning modules as follow:
- Sustainable apparel production methods
- Raw materials and their environmental impact
- Textile Engineering
- Apparel industry entrepreneurship
- Digital Product Passport
The course is available in 7 languages: English, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, French, Greek, Spanish and Portuguese. It is released in January 2025 and for the first few months, only the English version is open to the public, while local language versions are being tested by partner learning institutions. Should you be interested in using the course for your school or SME, feel free to write to the project manager at info@eurotraining.gr.
