Alexia Tronel is the co-founder of ITINÉRANCE Méditerranée. She graduated in Economics and Political Sciences from Université Paris-Sorbonne, University of Melbourne, and University di Tella in Buenos Aires. Her professional experience in sustainable development has led her from the business world of Paris, to the UN in Rome and eventually to La Paz for a NGO. In 2014, she co-created with Caroline Perdrix, Atelier Bartavelle: a brand of clothes and creative studio deeply linked to the South of France and the Mediterranean culture. In 2018, Alexia and Caroline launched the NFP, ITINÉRANCE building a community of artisans and changemakers in the Mediterranean. It brings back craftmanship into the production of ready-to-wear brands to support women's communities and safeguard the intangible heritage of the Mediterranean. Alexia is a sustainability strategist and supports brands in their CSR repositioning. She speaks in several schools and conferences about social entrepreneurship and responsible fashion.
