JANUARY
London Textile Fair: London, January 13-14, 2025 / Held biannually in January and September, this trade show has evolved to become the largest textile exhibition in the UK.
Who’s Next: Paris, 17-19 January / Bi-annual womenswear event (also September 5-7) featuring Ready-to-Wear, Accessories, Beauty and Lifestyle. Since 2019, the fair has integrated IMPACT, their area dedicated to sustainable brands and solutions.
Néonyt: Paris, 17-19 January / / A unique platform dedicated entirely to sustainable fashion. With a perfect blend of business, innovation, and community, Neonyt connects style and responsibility in a design-driven, diverse manner. Also in Dusseldorf, 24-26 January.
Modefabriek: Amsterdam, 18-19 January / A womenswear event that blends fashion, knowledge, inspiration, and networking with trend expos, talks and live music.
FEBRUARY
Textile apparel sourcing: Paris, 2-4 February 2026 / The biannual trade show in Paris with over 800 exhibitors.
LUMó From Soil to Story. Fashion with Meaning: Trenčín (Slovakia), Opening February / Part of the Slovakian city’s Capital of Culture programming, this lab will host a year-round programme starting in February that draws on Trenčín’s rich textile heritage and on local communities that have maintained their relationship to craft despite the decline of large-scale industry.
3D-ECO Fashion Show: Berlin, 7 February / Part of an Erasmus+ project, an opportunity to see creative 3D printed fashion products live.
MARCH
UK Sustainable fashion week: Various locations in the UK, March 16-22. This year’s edition is titled “Resilience in Style: Redefining Fashion.”
The Fashion Tech Show: London, 30 - 31 March / AI, digital skills, circularity and more are themes at this annual event organised by PI Apparel Europe.
Change Now: Paris, March 30-April 1 / Discover 1,000+ innovations addressing all key sustainability challenges. Huge discount for advance ticket purchases for companies. The last day, with an accessible ticket price, is reserved to the general public.
APRIL
Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conference Europe: Amsterdam, 29-30 April / A 2-day event featuring numerous decision makers, the agenda focuses first on governance, supply chain and ethical staffing, then on the second day circularity, alternative business models and more.
TechTextil and TexProcess: Frankfurt, 21-24 April / Visitors to this trade show can see technical textiles for all applications as well as machines and procedures for their processing comprising large parts of the textile value chain.
Fashion Revolution Week: Late April / This week is an annual occasion bringing together the world's largest fashion activism movements for a week of action. Local and online contributions are welcomed into the official programming through their website. Info and programme forthcoming.
Fab Month: Online throughout April / This annual mostly online celebration is held every April to showcase the global Fab Lab Network's achievements, foster collaboration, and highlight innovations in digital fabrication, education, and community impact, featuring talks, workshops, and discussions on technology, sustainability, and societal development.
MAY
Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen, May 5-7 / Three days of agenda-setting dialogue, action-fuelled networking, and inspiring solutions shaping the future of fashion.
Fabricademy annual bootcamp: Dundalk, Ireland, May 25-30. Hands-on activities with experts, factory visits and social aspects from the creative alternative education provider Fabricademy.
Textile ETP Annual Conference: Amsterdam, 26-28 May / The focus will be on how digital technologies and data-driven business models are transforming the textile and apparel industry. The programme will also address the evolving European policy landscape, with dedicated sessions on the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the Digital Product Passport (DPP), the AI Act, and Circular Economy initiatives.
Romanian creative week, Iasi (RO), 13-24 May / Main annual edition of the largest event dedicated to the creative industries in the European Union.
International Circular Fashion Week: UK, May (location and date of 2026 TBA) / This event is particularly hands-on, showcasing the rich beauty of cultural heritage, traditional craft, and upcycling with talks and fashion shows.
FESPA Global Print Expo: Barcelona, 19-22 May 2026 / If you print on textiles, or need to find sustainable printing solutions for your business, this is the largest fair for innovations in wide-format, digital, screen, and textile printing, along with signage, personalisation, and sustainable technologies.
Circular Republic Festival: May (date TBD) / A flagship event on circular economy, expected for its 3d edition (last year in Munich was a resounding success).
Green Fashion Week: Croatia, Mid-May (date TBD) / A non-profit international event supported by GD Major and FSA and patronized by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea in collaboration with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The protagonists of GFW are fashion designers and international companies that contribute to promote the concept of sustainability through their collections and their products.
JUNE
Vetrine project Final conference: Paris, June 4 / Explore the results of the Erasmus+ project VETRINE including seeing and touching actual garments produced by students in collaboration with companies. Details forthcoming. TCBL EVENT
NEB Festival: Brussels and online, 9-13 June / The New European Bauhaus Festival is not about textiles, but it promotes sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion, be it in the built environment or through meaningful circular products in any field, including fashion. The programme is vast, encompassing cultural events in loco, a fair spotlighting numerous EU projects, and a satellite event including lots of online opportunities. Full calendar to be published around March.
Phygital Sustainability Expo: Rome, early June (date TBA) / An important event for sustainability in general, which may include the T&C sector, in which private stakeholders meet with the world's most influential institutional leaders and opinion leaders in order to foster vital interactions and high-level B2B networking, and ignite the process leading to new bills for the sustainability industry.
Future Fabrics Expo: Brussels 24-25 June / The largest dedicated showcase for sourcing certified, sustainably and responsibly produced materials, this year moves to Brussels in order to run in parallel with TRE (see below)
TRE Textile Recycling Expo: Brussels: 24-25 June / Find out the latest innovative solutions for the recycling of fabrics, clothing, footwear, fibres and non-wovens. Free to attend.
JULY and AUGUST
EU Textiles Product Passport Conference 2026: Valencia, Spain, July 1 / he first dedicated conference aimed at readiness, technology and opportunity in preparation for the introduction of the DPP regulations in Textiles expected in 2027.
Allfashion Sourcing : Cape Town (South Africa) 14-16 July
FAB26 organized by the FabFoundation will be held this time in Boston (USA) on the theme "Reimagine the Future".
Otherwise... the summer is a general time to pause and enjoy the heat if you’re in Europe!
SEPTEMBER
Avantex within Texworld Apparel Sourcing: Paris, September, August 31 to September 2. The Avantex area of this important trade fair highlights the most innovative materials available, and is complemented by a roster of talks and roundtables like the Biofashion Innovation Day organised by TCBL in the 2025 edition. Expect more of the same! TCBL EVENT
Ecosystex annual conference: Antwerp, September 22-24. This event brings together featured EU projects, usually towards the end of their work, with Ecosystex members and other stakeholders for 2 days of learning from project results through presentations and workshops. In 2026, expect the FABRIX project to be on the roster of presenters. TCBL EVENT
OCTOBER
Fabrix project final conference: Rotterdam (NL), date TBD / The FABRIX project, in which Cedecs-TCBL is partner, is coming to an end and we’ll be presenting final results at this conference and event scheduled to take place during Dutch sustainable fashion week. Expect reflections on increasing circular economy in pilot cities, live demonstrations, and tangible products that have come out of this collaboration. TCBL EVENT
Dutch sustainable fashion week: Netherlands various locations, date TBD / An annual Dutch event showcasing sustainable and innovative fashion by connecting designers, brands, and consumers to promote a greener, fairer industry through runway shows, workshops, talks, and retail activities focusing on circularity, ethical practices, and textile innovation, distinct from traditional fashion weeks by its full commitment to sustainability.
World Circular Textiles Day: October 8 everywhere / An annual event always on the same day to report, reflect, and celebrate circularity progress momentum from the previous year while looking forward to the future.
Romanian creative week Bucharest: Bucharest (RO), October dates TBD / New second annual edition of a slightly smaller offshoot of the main event held in May in Iasi. The Bucharest extension brings a selection of creative events with the same energy and diversity of the main festival to extend the dialogue already created.
NOVEMBER and DECEMBER
