TCBL Days 2018

#TCBL_2018 invites you to participate in our yearly event to find out how the textiles and clothing sector is responding to major change. The theme for this year is Building alternative value chains in the T&C industry: digital, human, circular, transparent. We thus aim to explore how the key policy themes of Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy can work together, within the TCBL vision of transparent and principle-driven value chains.

As with the previous editions in Huddersfield, UK and Athens, Greece, the formats that make up #TCBL_2018 offer different ways for you to see, learn and interact. This year we’ll use locations and visit companies throughout the city and region, and in addition a local network of collective spaces, art galleries, and retail outlets are organising a rich programme of exhibits, workshops and side events.

• You will be exploring new technologies and trends that shape innovation today, linking innovation to sustainability, and seeing them at work in the Prato district.
• You will be looking at new directions for the industry, driven by consumer choices and customisation, the environment and new technologies, with a range of provocative speakers offering new perspectives on these issues.
• You will be looking at how participants in the TCBL ecosystem from all over Europe are making this might work in practice, developing new business models, collaborative ventures, and business services along the way.

Above all, you will meet and become part of the TCBL community, breathing in the Mediterranean capacities and energies of the most important T&C district in Europe.
