TCBL Days 2019

#TCBL_2019 invites you to participate in our yearly event to find out how the textiles and clothing sector is responding to major change. The venue for this year is Iași, Romania, one of Europe’s most important centres for garment production, and the theme is Fashion Forward: connecting patterns for sustainability.

We aim to capture the young energy of the local industry and its ability to blend the key TCBL concepts – circular, transparent, human, digital – towards a new, emerging vision for sustainable fashion.

As with the previous editions in Huddersfield, UK, Athens, Greece, and Prato, Italy, the formats that make up #TCBL_2019 offer different ways for you to see, learn and interact. This year we’ll use locations and visit companies throughout the city and region, and the local industrial and creative community is organising a rich programme of exhibits and side events.

• You will be exploring new technologies and trends that shape innovation today, linking innovation to sustainability, and seeing them at work in the Iași district.

• You will be looking at new directions for the industry, driven by consumer choices and customisation, the environment and new technologies, with a range of provocative speakers offering new perspectives on these issues.
• You will be looking at the concrete results attained by participants in the TCBL ecosystem from all over Europe and the impacts on their business models.

Above all, you will join us in the key event that marks the conclusion of the four-year EU funded project and learn how you can become part of the TCBL Foundation, the structure that will carry the TCBL community and its activities forward into the future.
